Everything stays in your browser.
Contribution Lands redraws the contribution calendar on GitHub profile pages as an illustrated city. Here is exactly what it touches.
The calendar on the page
Dates, contribution counts and the yearly total on github.com profile pages.
Four display settings
Your chosen world, view mode, stats panel and motion, in Chrome storage.
Sends data anywhere
No analytics, advertising or tracking. Nothing is sold or shared.
What it reads
On github.com profile pages it reads the dates and contribution counts in the contribution calendar and the yearly total in its heading. To complete streaks and the yearly total, it requests the public contributions page for that profile (github.com/users/<name>/contributions) for earlier dates. Your browser makes these requests to github.com in the same way it does when you browse GitHub.
What it stores
- Your chosen world, in Chrome sync storage, so Chrome may sync it across browsers where you are signed in.
- Three display settings (view mode, stats panel and motion), in Chrome local storage.
Contribution data is processed in memory to draw the page and is not stored.
What it does not do
It sends no data to the developer or to any third party. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not sell or share data. Removing the extension removes its settings.
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
The use of information received by this extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
